A calendar function presents the month and day of the week in English, French, or Spanish. The user selects from four US time zones to match the clock’s location for atomic time coordination. A radio tower icon flashes onscreen when receiving time updates from the WWVB at a 60kHz frequency. A crescendo alarm alerts users, increasing in volume over 2 minutes. A snooze function arrests the alarm for 8 minutes. An AM/FM radio option also can be employed. For indoor climate information, the clock measures indoor temperatures ranging from 23 to 122 degrees F.
