La Crosse Technology WT-3144P Atomic Wall Clock

Review
Framed in a matte, pearl-colored plastic, this wall clock measures 14 inches in diameter and looks most at home hanging in an office or business setting. However, this clock’s claim to fame is precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. The clock has a built-in antenna system that receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn is regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of (more…)

installed the batteries and was expecting it to self-set in the middle of the night, but it set itself as I was hanging it on the wall.

It Does What A Clock Should Do
It’s a clock that keeps time, just like a clock should. It took a few hours for it to find the correct time, and it’s been fine ever since.

    Beautiful and extremely reliable clock
The best part about this clock was when I installed the battery and it set the time automatically! PLUS, unlike other clocks I have owned, this one keeps perfect time!

    Great product, good service.
Works great, nice quality and design. I had purchased a different brand from a dept. store and it kept resetting itself – not a problem with the LaCrosse.

Attractive & easy to set up
This is my fifth atomic clock from LaCrosse and I am pleased with all of them. Have them in every room so that I don’t have to spring ahead and fall back with daylight savings…

    It works, but…..
I ordered 25 of these clocks for my school. Three were damaged in shipping (faces smashed), one had an arm broken off and one is defective.

    Deserves ZERO stars
Here’s what you get – a clock that doesn’t sync to the new day light savings time beginning in 2008; non-existent customer service; and my warranty card was sent back to me…

    Disappointing atomic clock
I purchased this very pretty clock and it worked fine for about a month. After that it stopped running.

    Good Clock
How much can I say about a clock? Keeps time well, and found the time on its own, which is the main reason I got it. No complaints so far. Oh, and it’s not expensive!

Main problem La-Crosse says clocks can take 3-5 nights to reset for DST change. Are you kidding! so I have to manually set my so-called automatic clock or remember that for up to a week the time is not right. Not worth it.
